Part of their mission is to share stories of vererans and their experience serving our country.
Students stand before their projects dedicated to veterans in the community. The 5th and 6th Grade students of Crista Black and Jo Lynn McKnight have selected a project this school year which focuses on restoring patriotism for our veterans and soldiers. They have entitled the project, Patriotism PLUS (Patriotism and Liberties Uniting Students and Soldiers).
Community members including special guest veterans enjoy breakfast prior to the program at the middle school cafeteria.
