The recognition is part of the Association’s annual program which recognizes and honors twenty middle school teachers, one from each regional Education Service Center, as outstanding middle level teachers for the year.
Pine Tree Junior High School Science teacher, Karen Darby, is the recipient of the 2008-09 Outstanding Teacher Award from the Texas Middle School Association.
