Friday, May 23, was a day Pine Tree 8th and 9th graders really didn’t want to miss since principal Bob Jeter and his staff sponsored a TAKS Fun Day filled with games, movies, football, soccer, tennis, volleyball, and basketball. |

ExxonMobil recently presented Pine Tree Junior High with a grant for a monocular microscope and a binocular stereo microscope for the 8th and 9th grade science classes. The microscopes are welcome additions to the school’s labs. |

Ninth-grade Peer Assistance and Leadership classmates at Pine Tree Junior High School volunteered to go all day Tuesday with a "handicap." Some students chose to use a wheelchair or crutches, some chose to be mute or deaf (with the help of earplugs.) |
